“What are some concrete, simple ways to address anger management”
We have tried therapies, reading various books together and journalling within said books, having clear and consistent consequences, worked on mindfulness/meditation, and found a great regular way to exercise that works for my child. However, especially in school, there are times when my teen loses emotional regulation/control easily and acts out in ways that are undesirable. Once calm and reflective, my child acknowledges the mistake but it is more about getting ahead of it, ie. being more flexible and regulating a safe, appropriate way. Quick tips or strategies thinking outside the box would be very much appreciated!
