For parents of children on the spectrum, it’s important to know that some children with autism may also experience attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

ADHD Awareness Week 2024, organized by Let’s Talk ADHD and the Hong Kong Adult ADHD Association, will take place from October 26 to November 2, 2024. This annual event offers free in-person and online seminars aimed at raising awareness and supporting individuals with ADHD, their families, and professionals.

The theme for this year, “Empowering Families: Turning ADHD Challenges into Strengths,” will highlight the crucial role of family support in managing ADHD across different stages of life. With expert insights from Stanford University Professor Dr. Lawrence Fung and 15 other global specialists, the seminars will cover topics such as ADHD in the workplace and strategies for nurturing family relationships.

All sessions will include Chinese and English subtitles for accessibility. Registration is open, and participants will have access to live sessions as well as future replays.
